DC Devils Honour Board Fours 2025
The GM Devils proudly hosted their inaugural Junior Tournament in the stunning Goulburn Valley, held over two dynamic days, Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th of May, at the picturesque Shepparton Park. We extend heartfelt gratitude to the Greater Shepparton Council, GMCU, and the Shepparton Club for their generous sponsorship. As everyone arrived, they were greeted with warm smiles by Grace Kenworthy, the President of the Goulburn Murray Bowls Region, setting a friendly and inviting vibe for the event. Young players from all over Victoria came together, showcasing their talent and sportsmanship while having a blast. The atmosphere was lively, with music playing in the background, and some players even showed off their best dance moves, making it feel like a celebration!
Under the careful guidance of GM Devils Coach David Cartwright, players received encouragement and support whenever needed, fostering an environment of camaraderie and growth. The culinary offerings were equally impressive; on Saturday, participants enjoyed an assortment of warm pies, pasties, and delicious sausage rolls, complemented by an array of fresh fruits, delightful cakes, and tempting slices. As Sunday dawned with an early start, the mouthwatering aroma of egg and bacon rolls filled the air, perfectly paired with hearty burgers and sizzling sausages for lunch. This weekend didn’t just highlight talent; it cultivated friendships and created lasting memories, inspiring all who participated!
